repaired cap-stones ready for replacement (June 03)

There are several aspects to the work on the wall. Firstly all the old cement between the stones will be removed and the gaps built up with fragments of local stone.
The wall will then be repointed and finished appropriately.
Some of the old stones capping the wall are damaged and they are being removed & repaired.
Work
on the wall progresses (May 03)
A new section of wall is being built at the East end of the White walk as part of an improved entrance for wheelchair users.
